Controlling Listeria in Apple Packinghouses

The program has been developed by Ms. Genevieve Sullivan, a Ph.D. student with Dr. Martin Wiedmann's Food Safety Lab at Cornell University. Topics covered will include: FSMA as it relates to fruit packing facilities; The biology of Listeria monocytogenes, including impacts and risk factors; and the practical aspects of packing house sanitation.
Who Should Attend: If your farm business includes an apple packing facility of any size, the attendance of owners, managers, and sanitation supervisors is strongly encouraged.
