Sweet Corn and Pumpkin IPM Twilight Meeting

Rain date Tuesday, Aug. 29 (same time). We will call and email registrants on Wednesday 8/23 morning if severe thunderstorms and rain require us to postpone our meeting.

Location: Meet at Dyer Farms vegetable fields, down farm lane at 6390 Route 22, Plattsburgh (1.5 miles north of CCE Clinton office on the right, past Dyer Farms/Shields Vegetables farmstand)

Cost: $10 per farm (registration required by 9 am Wed, Aug. 23). Light refreshments provided.

2.00 DEC pesticide recertification credits available in categories 1A, 10, and 23

Join us for a twilight meeting at Dyer Farms in Plattsburgh. We'll tour Dyer Farms' vegetable fields, view an experimental laser scarecrow set up to deter birds, discuss insect, disease, and weed scouting and management recommendations for sweet corn and pumpkins, and cover crops for vegetable rotations.
